Hello people!

Im trying to transfer pictures from my mobile to my computer.
Ive been scouring the net for the past few months now looking for a solution to my E700 Irda problem. I know there are loads of threads and i must have looked at the all but still no luck icon_cry.gif Its driving me crazy!! Can someone please tell me what im doing wrong Im not the best with computers so excuse my non-technical terms icon_rolleyes.gif

Im using Win98, the phone is a SGH-E700 and this is the Usb Irda adapter:

http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9k dWN0X3Jldmlld3M=&product_uid=47754&offset=30

I've d/l Easy studio PIMS & File manager and internet acess off the samsung website. Ive also loaded up the cd that came with the adapter.
The phone actually connects with the computer you can see this in the task bar and when i click on the infra red monitor it recognises its an E700.

The problem is When i load up Easy studio and file manager - it doesnt recognise the phone at all and when i click on "my phone"nothing comes up.
The Phones Infra red is switched on, port dropdown is on Irda and ive tried all the diff speeds. It says that its offline - Ive d/l the internet access software off the samsung website (wasnt even sure if it was relevant) but alas no luck.

Not sure what else to do now, if anyone could shine a light in my direction i would be so so grateful!

Many thanks Michelle xxx icon_smile.gif

How many Com Ports do you see? If there is more than 1 try them with 115200 as speed.

Ive turned the computer off over night loaded it back up still the same problem. Ive even d/l the filemanager programme again still no luck.

The messages pop up saying "cannot read messages"when the programme is loading up just as the following are about to load up loading MS SMS data and Loading SIMs SMS data. Dunno if that may indicate where the problem is?

Also after its loaded up, the buttons which i am allowed to press a message pops up saying please restart dialog?

Thankyou for your help so far its very kind of you icon_smile.gif
