Phone Model: MOTORLOA V525

I have a new motorloa V525 my mum gave me as she likes her smaller motorla. I have a O2 sim card and when i put this in it asks for a subsidy code. I have the IMEI code its about 15 numbers, anyone know how to unlock this so i can use this sim.

best way wud b 2 fone vodafone and get the subsidy code off them,there will b a charge of around £15-25. that way ur warranty stays intact, there are other ways and means, but this invalidates the warranty of the fone

And once you have this code the phone will be free to work on ANY network?
Do you know what number at Vodophone to call, or shall I just call customer services from my Mobile?

yeah phone vodafone from ur handset and they will advise u on the necessary steps.

I've got mine done (not via Vodaphone as they never returned my calls / mails)....
Anyway... now have V525 on O2....

A local shop will do it...
They are called PHONE MASTERS in Thurmaston (nr. Leicester)....
Took all of 2 minutes...

That includes taking the Sim Card / battery out, putting it back together, and walking out to the back of his shop to do Unlocking......
But yeah, I know what you mean....

Smart Clips man gotta love'm for they can unlock any of the compatible phones. But remote unlocking is better for the fact you dont pay shipping and its instant.
