hi, does anyone know how to remove the sound when capturing images on e715... i find it sooo... annoying!!!
sorry, but i can't find the thread, what i saw was for the e700...
PLZ help....

btw, will this flash enables my phone to take video clips aswell? and, will this also allow me to send datas from other phones such as contacts, images, etc. via irda?

Yes on the video thing (only if you flash it with a E710 Firmware) and No on the rest. Are you using T-Mobile?

yes sir, my phone is locked to t-mobile, however, i managed to configure it to our local network w/the help of this forum... even samsung would refuse to configure my phone... this forum beats every service center known to man... hahaha....
going back to my question, how do i flash it to e710 firmware sir? and what will be the difference aside from the video capability? any disadvantages or advantages? can i flash using only the ir port?

Advantage is that your phone will have video capturing capabilities. Disadvantage is that's the only thing you will have. If you are in the U.S. of A, e710 firmware will not work. That firmware flashes your phone with 1800Mhz GSM frequency which will only work in europe or Asia. So unless you plan to use your phone solely as a video camera, I recommend not flashing it with e710 firmware. You can upgrade it to the current DC5 firmware for e715.
