Instead of buying a 1GB card over here, I suggest that u get it from Dubai as it is definitely cheaper over there.
Also, I am not too sure whether the card is available over here.

But transport charges are costly mate i tink within few weeks the rate would come down

If you are tryin a mmc card for nokia it will be very unstable.May be it wont wurk.
