I have a samsung sgh-c100,it's data cable and EasyGPRS. But easygprs is not detecting my mobile. I tried to look for the driver for c100 but couldn't find it. What do i need? The driver for my data cable or driver for sgh-c100 and where can i get it? Yhanks.

I don't know about the brand but it is definitely sgh-c100's cable.

Install the USB to Serial driver and try it again. http://www.mobiles.unipro.ru/files/USB-Device-Driver.zip

literally, what can a data cable be used for? i was thinking of buying one (if i'm correct i'd need a pcb133lbe), but before i do, i want to know what kind of things can it be used for.
i'm guessing you can back up the addressbook and pictures onto pc, but can you send jpeg images to the phone (i'm so bored of the wallpapers it came with)? how about ringtones?
i'd appreciate any information, thnx in advance!

I extracted those files in windows/system and it didn't worked. In which folder should I extract those files? I have Windows ME btw.

Extract them where you want than search for your USB Device in the Windows Device Manager and do a Driver Update.

In USB controller, there are 4 options - Generic USB hub, Intel 82801aa USB universal host controller, USB composite device and USB root hub, whose driver should I update?
