Hi. i need some help!
I want to connect my 6600 to my pc, to allow me to download applications, wallpapers etc.
What is the best method to connect?
Should i buy a data cable or a USB bluetooth adtp?
What had the better transfer rate and is esaiest and quickest to use??

i suggues u buy a bluetooth adapter coz its transfer speed is faster than infrared n cable! try to buy a bluetooth from www.mobileaction.com company coz the company provid all types/brands of Phone Manager Software to let u control/transfer file right from ur pc! so u no need buy or crack any phone manager!

6600 cannot be connected via a data cable cause it does not support it....U can connect 2 ur pc thru infrared or bluetoooth....Bluetooth will be suitable as it will give u high speed data transfer

Still a bit confused tho!
Why are there data cables available if the 6600 doesnt support it?
Is IR, bluetooth or a card reader the only way to download applications from your PC?
what sorta transfer rates/time are we talkin about when using bluetooth?

there are no data cables available for the 6600.Look At base of the there a two holes one for ur Adapter and other for ur headset,boomset etc.U shud get Bluetooth port.

yes data cable are supported by the nokia 6600 and i can prove this as i have one lol
so they are available but are kinda annoying to use i also have the bluetooth usb dongle and to be honest the data cable is good for doing more thing to the phone where as blue tooth is good for file transfers but that is all

what kind of data cable do data cable do you have (e.g DKU-5 or something like that) as i have a bluetooth adapter but i cant get it to work and im looking for a data cable

They are no data cables in the idea of data cables... they are for maintenance only and are not for data transfer.

The 6600 PC Suite will not support any data cables.

y don't u try transfer ur files using a card reader coz tht's what i do
faster coz u can just copy the files that u want and paste it in the folder u want
