I have a 7250i and my friend got a 3200, these phones seem very very similar, i was wondering if anyone knows what the actuall differences are in the hardware, becuase the 7250 can't play AMR files, but the 3200 can, so maybe i can mod my 7250i to play them if the hardware is the same, i know the 7250i can make digital noises cause when you take a picture it makes a camera noise, so anyone know if it would be possible to actually do this, probably would be a mission but would be nice to be able to play AMR's on the 7250

It's impossible to "mod" the phone. Only if you can program a complete new firmware on your own.

well this is what the plan is, if the HARDWARE is the same, then we will hack the software and try to actually get it to be able to do this, but i need to find out if the hardware is the same or not!

it's not the same, but it's alike.
And hacking the firmware is quite talk big.

well we hacked our old ericsson 628, and our nokia 3310, so now its time to move onto something bigger, and this would sureley put a lot of smiles on a lot of 7250i owners faces.

Define "hacked". Uploading a new firmware isn't hacking

i am anxiously waiting for someone to modify the firmwre of 7250i ... as of now.. i am have a few freakin problems with 7250i...
1. sometimes, when i goto gallery and select a photo and give set as wall paper, phone restarts by itself and load the old wallpaper..
2. some times i get a call and whichever button i press, i am unable to answer..
3. quite often my phone shows one missed call and then it starts ringing all by itself... but the display is one missed call.. to stop this creepy thing continue i have to pull out and reinsert the battery..
pls lemme knwo if any of the other 7250i commrades face this...

when i say hacked i mean HACKED, else i would have said something else!
hacked as in actually modyfiying the software to do things it was never intended to do!
