The phone can only play midi, amr, mp3 and acc files.
The 6230 is just a normal Series 40 phone, so it can't do anything like a Series 60 (3650, 6600, N-Gage, etc.).
You can transfer files to the 6230 using a DKU-2 cable, bluetooth or IrDA. And you can upload files to the MMC using a card reader.
The 6230 can only play .3gp-files - and if you think about watching movies on it: nope, not possible. The supported filesize is limited (much less than 1 MB I think).

There's ABSOLUTELY NO limit to filesize.
Don't tell but i've got a rip of the movie "The Samurai" on it which is 2 files at around 60 mb each.
Again, there's NO file size limit on the N6230

OK, I've learned that in the meanwhile in another thread.
Why do people want to watch a movie on such crappy displays? I wouldn't even try it.

3gp files should be played by the inbuilt video player of the phone.
