Select port, speed and click start. You can only make a backup of the NOR.

This is the Dumper. You can backup your original firmware with this.
Use the downolader exe (flasher) for upload new firmware in phone.
Same method.
Go to "Firmware and Flashers" first page to see what you are looking for.
And "Yes" you can always reload your original (if you backup with dumper), if something goes wrong.

The LIB_PC : File not found is that the program could not open the com port. For example you have an infrared adapter on the same port. In the top of the program you have to set the right port.

Good luck icon_angel.gif

how do I replace the default melody?

I have used samsung DIY and modified the bin file. I can then flash it using download v3.2a ( which takes a long time)

The above method works ok, but i need to reflash whenever i need to replace the default melody

alternatively I can create a s3 file and use optiflash which has a function " difference only" but samsung e700 doesnt work on Optiflash.

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO REPLACE THE DEFAULT MELODIES ?

Thx
