Well i'm worried about that too,
I don't have any idea about the numbers of messages that V600 can save.
And the fact of the inexistence of folders is quiet ugly. (ex-Nokia user)
Anyone can help please?

The maximum number of texts mine can store is only 20, it gives you a low memory reminder when you have 15 in there. I was quite dissapointed that it only held 20 mainly because I usually like to store my old messages and my old phone stored up to 100 including the outbox.

Now i have to back up my phone each time messages are full, because i like to store them.

You can change the number of texts to store there are presets which you can chose, or you can customise and chose your own. I've had no problems with the texts, I had a Nokia 7210 before and that held lots and lots, mostly they were not worth saving and I just got lazy and let them build up before I had to delete the lot.

Are you talking about the "Auto cleanup" option within the "Message setup" option?
I customized that to 99 messages and it still came up with the message box full when I had 20 in my Inbox.

Seems some versions of the V600 have older software that only allowed SMS storage on the SIM. Most current V600 have software that allow SMS storage using the phone memory. My V600 has 23 stored in the inbox, 5 in the outbox and 2 e-mails and the memory meter is still only showing 1 (out of 6).
Take a look at either Howards Forums or What Mobile forum for lots of info on which software versions allow meory storage. Phones can be flashed with latest versions.
