can anyone help me out here, im backing up my firmware now,....
this might sound silly, but what can i do as far as editing it, installing a different firmware, and where do i download them from.
also, i have everything i need to upload java games to my phone, but where do i find the games to begin with to download to my pc?
any help would be great, thanks

damn, and whats the deal with optiflash, how long does it take for me to back up my firmware? its been going for like an hour and its only at 9 percent?

if its been an hour and ur only at 9%, something prolly is wrong. Try different versions of optiflash 3.6
for me, 3.6.0.4 works but not 3.6.0.6

okay cool, ill try that, but, do u have the link for it?
also; if anyone could let me know, should i even be flashing my firmware, im new to this, what do i have to gain from changing my firmware? should i not even attempt this because i have the e715? that is, if i put the e700 on my phone will i be able to shoot videos?
also, is there a way for me to change my start screen or turn off the the camera sound?

okay, nevermind, got version .4 and its backing up now. but someone please help with the above..
