I read on the net ---- the lack of HEADSET profile in 3650 renders the Nokia Bluetooth headset incompatiable with 3650 ... ! i'm planing on buying a bluetooth headset for my 3650 but i have no idea as to which one is compatible.
i heard that SE bluetooth headsets are compatible with 3650 ...
any info is welcome

I've never heard of Bluetooth headsets being incompatible with manufacturers. If your phone supports Bluetooth, it should be able to accept all Bluetooth headsets, Nokia or Sony Ericsson.

From wat i've heard Nokia 3650 doesn't support the "HEADSET" profile, HEADSET profile is required to connect to a bluetooth headset. Your fone will detect the headset but might not be able to connect to it.
so dats the problem i guess ... but i heard that some of SE bluetooth headsets are compatible ... dats wat i wanna kno

You are absolutely correct AzA. Nokia 3650 does not support Headset bluetooth profile used by most bluetooth headset manufacturers. Why not is anybody's guess. 3650 supports only Handsfree profile. There are currently only two bluetooth headsets that support Handsfree profile and thus work with Nokia 3650 that I know of. One is the Nokia bluetooth (I think it's model number is HDW-2) and Sony Ericsson's HBH-30. I have heard from other forums though that only the Nokia headset works really well with 3650. Most people using the SE's HBH-30 headset with Nokia 3650 have reported dropped connections in mid-call. I have also read that Sony Eriscsson is coming out with a new headset - HBH-35. That one is also supposed to support Handsfree profile but I'm not sure if it would solve the connection problems when used with Nokia 3650. From what I heard the Nokia headset is supposed to be pretty good except for a problem with fragile earloop which apparently breaks ofter - Nokia is including a spare one in the package but it still breaks. That's what I know about that topic - hope it helps.

This is really disappointing, since I upgraded from a SonyEricsson T68i to the 3650 and my Motorola Headset (best IMHO) is useless. I'm steamed over this
