plz help me to send images from my mobile nokia 3200 to pc,
am using the nokia pc suite 5.10.013 but i cant transfer the images!, either by using nokia phone browser or nokia image converter,
i also cannot transfer image from pc to mobile using that same suite!
plzplz help me u all, friends,thanks.

Which method you are using?
IrDA: if you have a firewall, deactivate it. Sometimes it blocks even the IrDA traffic.
Cable: be sure it's a original Nokia DKU-5 cable. Cheap imitations don't work with PC Suite.

ya am using irda connection, some posts on this website tells that its unnecessary to use the nokia suite, windows 98 suffice to perform pics transfer, wat can u say? i've tried wiz windows IR monitor but i can only transfer files from pc to mobile and not the contrary,
wat i want is only how i can transfer my pics frm my Nokia 3200 to pc via IRDA! Only this! but wat about the firewall? where can it be if ever it is present? on my pc or external?koz there's no obstruction between my mobile and the IR receiver on the IRDA.
am able to transfer data files(only text> phone num,contacts...) using nokia content copier...but not pics!!
wat should be the speed of my irda-usb adapter>>?
plz help me,

It'd be better if u used a software to do the transfers. I have a 6220 and this happens with my fone too, but rarely.
I'd recommend using the PC suite, its quite simple to use and quite user friendly.
Abt the firewall, there is no inbuilt firewall on win98, there could be an external firewall if the pc is in ur office, but i dont think that'll affect the transfers much.
Generally the default speed works fine with most models, but if it doesnt, goto the device properties and try changing it.
Also, make sure u r using the latest version of the pc suite. Check for that at nokia site under 3200.

you see wen i use nokia content copier to send files from mobile(3200) to pc, only txt files are copied >i.e AdvancedFunctions,Calendar,EaseOfUse,FunFunctions,Messages,PhoneBook,P rofiles.
but i cant have my gallery folder which contains my pics...?why is this so? where is the problem?koz u see i can transfer files but not images! pplz help, thx in advance.

Dont use Nokia Content Copier to backup images, tones etc. Use the Nokia Phone Browser that comes with the PC Suite.

but still wiz the nokia phone browser, all the folders are empty, i.e folder My Photos under gallery folder is empty> is this a problem frm nokia software? think so...koz many posts are having the same problem. wat do u suggest to me to transfer images from my mobile(3200) to pc?

You are looking into the wrong folder... if you open the Phone Browser don't look into the first Gallery under "Nokia Phone Browser"... that's one on you computer... there is a second one... which you can find under the name of your phone...
