hi, can i flash which phone's firmwares to my x100, firmware modding is possible? which near models firmwares work on x100? i need suggestions...

X108 has the chinese fonts language thing inside its nothing special. If you really want it where do you want me to send it.

hi all,
I am new to this field, and sorry if I am asking a silly question. I got interested with this thread bcoz, I am using x100 handset.
Can you tell me what is firmware? What it does, How to get them and install it in the mobile? What things I need to get for it? What are the advantages of upgrading to those firmwares?

hi, firmware is like main operating system software of phone and other electronic things (cdrom, vga card, digital camera etc), firmware files can be download net and upload via various operations and cable or infra or wireless connections.some firmwares have executable others can upload by supported program, usually new firmware is mean bug fixes, improvements and many good things, go to this link http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic4919.html and read carefully..

See my post in the Firmwares & Flashers - Part 2 thread
Edit: In the other thread you mentioned you want to flash to remove the SIM lock. Flashing won't do that. To unlock your X105, you need a SIM card from another provider and use these steps.
