I've just received my LG U8110 handset. How long should I charge the handset before I use it? Also, do I need to discharge the phone totally after this charge to increase the capacity of the battery?
Many thanks in advance.

I think it says 2 hours in the manual, but it's best to leave it over night possibly 12 hours for the first charge.
As with most batteries, the first charge is usually the most imprtant as this is often seen by people as the cause of a memory effect.

batteries in the new lg's are lithium ion batteries, so they dont have the "memory" of the old ni-cad batteries, so u can basically do what u want wit the new batts, although its always better if u follow the rules.
turned off while charging
fully discharged
fully charged when charging

Hello I just got a new LG U8110 a few days ago. I was just wondering how do you connect to the computer. I've got all the wires and set everything up but when I try to connect it says: 'connection failed'. Also how much is internet per minute?
