hey,
was wondering if anyone could help.... im using windows 2000 and using built in infared device on my laptop to try and send images to my phone, im not using nokia software, the infared port works for other devices so is there any settings i need to change on my fone?
when i do try and send, an error always ocurs!
if anyone has any sollutions i would be gratefull!

You try it without any software, only with the windows stuff?
In that case: it won't work
Windows says, that there is another computer called "7210"... so it tries to send it like it woud send it to another computer, so it wound work, because the phone is not another computer

yeah i was using windows, i used to have an ericsson t68i and i had no problem transfering files, i guess i will have to get nokia pc suitte, do u know anywhere i can download that programme?

Nokia phones don't support IrDA send/receive, so you can't transfer files directly to it like on Sony Ericsson phones. PC Suite is one option, or you can use MobiMB (www.logomanager.co.uk) if you also want to transfer files from the phone to the PC. MobiMB also won't modify your files during the transfer process.

hey, thanx for the help, i wont spend all my time playing around with settings ETC, the MobiMB software looks really good, does anyone know a free download of the software?
