 I recently bought a data cable for my E700. During installation i was asked to plug my phone onto the cable. After i had done this my phone switched off and i can now not switch it back on. I have tried charging but nothin is happenin. My phone is dead. I found out that the cable was only compatible with the samsung E710.Please help as i have no idead how much it is going to cost to be repaired etc.. Thanks

Get ur self a E700 cable and then flash it into a new firmware which can be find here -> http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic4919.html
and u will need Optiflash to flash it..

Yes, get PCB133LBE serial cable.
But I think you need downloader 3.3 and 3.2 to flash it.
Optiflash is for Agere phones (710). E700 is non Agere, is Philips chipset.

oh my god, i tried to take a backup of my v200, instead, it deleted it!!! what am i going to do? im downloading the h2 firmware to see if it works, if not, im dead!

It will work dude, if u do the right i mean  Ive missed some stuff when flashing before hehe, well its not a problem if u just do wrong ull need to reflash it only, ive even tried to flash a E700 and E710 and E715 firmware into my V200 xD, but it never worked so ull need to just reflash it,...

Ive tried, im using optiflash 3.6, but when its loading the firmware, it says "error_to many retries" *sob* anyway to fix that?

It worked like a hot knife through butter, its p and running againg and is working perfectly. tnx alot, i dig this forum. keep up the good work helping greenheads like me getting things together.
