Can anyone suggest an economical, but good, external antenna for my Samsung SPH-A660? We are in a hilly area and have dropped calls all the time, especially in the house. Even something that gave us another bar or two would be great. And does it matter terribly what frequency range and whether or not it is mounted outside or not?
Thanks

Hi,
I dont think signal boosters are all they are cracked up to be, an antenna is an antenna and i think if the signal isn't there.......it isn't there. I wouldnt waste my money if I were you.

Heya i was the on the same "quest" as yourself: to find whether these are successful in improving my dismal signal i get at home and i came across this site which i think gives a pretty good idea of how effective they are
i cannot post URLs at the moment so just type "antenna booster information" into google and click the first link
ciao

An external antenna can be helpful, yes, I use one myself for my aircard. I get an extra bar or two, and the connection is stronger. You don't need to go to some outside website that is selling something to find out their 'impartial' ideas about it.
