Hi
I have a friend who has a Nokia 7250i and she wants to transfer ringtones/pics/games from her computer to her 7250i. She has a data cable.
Is there any specific software that she should use, if so where is it? I think she really wants the ringtones as paramount.
Thanks,
Richard

If she has the orinal Nokia DKU-5 Datacable she could use the PC suite which comes with the phone on CD.
If it's a cheap one she could use MobiMB or Oxygen Phone Manager II (use Google to find there websites)

Oxygen came with the data cable (it's a cheap one), but she couldn't write anything to the phone as the write icon was faded out. Maybe it was a trail software...
I'll have a look at PC Suite ('looking').... .... .... Oh it's free from Nokia website... Have to try that instead...
MobiMB looks quite good, but I doubt she well pay for it. So lets hope PC Suite works!

PC Suite doesn't work with cheap cables.

I'm not sure now, had a look on the web at some pics of the Nokia DKU-5 Datacable and it looks similar...
Well I guess she will have to try and if that fails then she will have to get the MobiMB softare...
Thanks for you help so far...

There are many cheap imitations of the DKU-5 cable. Some even should work with PC Suite with a trick, but I never met one who's did...
