Hi,
I want to chat on irc via wap. What's the best way to do it ? I've tried WLIrc, but i couldn't connect to a server. My ip is not supported to run a http gateway on my computer. So can you post some working gateways or any other programs which can be used like mirc?
p.s. my mobile doesn't support sockets.

well, I did not know that you could use IRC on WAP. So if you find someway to do so, please tell me!.. easier to understand now?

i dont know about v200 but try to search for virca.jad wlirc.jad .... my friend has just wrote me that he had found a way to connect to irc on wap, so i will post you the sollution of this problem soon ;] the easiest way to do it is to go to this url on wap http://w.alf.nu but it only supports some servers, no commands are available, only one channel and no pm

well dude, if its a Java applet software ull need symbian OS which no samsung got, so then there is no way, but as long as it is in .wml (WAP part of HTML language) and u can access it with just connect to the WAP site and chat itll work with ever phone that support WAP.

my friend has a nokia 7210, and he's using wlirc. we set the same settings on his and my phones, but my phone didn't connect, but his phone did. try it, maybe it'll work on yours..

it seems to work but itll connecting all the time so its impossible to write anything... but itll work so far...
