Answers to questions regarding reception coverage or signal strength can be found at our reception guide. Please check there first to see if anyone has left a review. In most cases questions are answered, however feel free to post any additional questions.

I have a razor phone with tmobile and live in fairview utah where we roam off from alltel towers. We have nothing but problems here and have called tmobile many times to resolve. I dont have a landline and must travel to get any coverage. It is frustrating. We have talked with an engineer at tmobile named allan and he has let us know they are working on this. Just wondering if there are any updates on this?. When i call tmobile they switch me from tier to tier then several hours later my phone battery dies. We are in an are that is 850 mghz coverage. I bought the razor since it is quad band but it still wont work. I understand there are roaming agreements with alltell but have heard rumors that all tell locks their towers in certain areas?. Please help. icon_sad.gif

I have called tmobile and talked to the engineers. They have tried numerous things to get this resolved (or so they say) to resolve this. I have numerous trouble tickets but noone has ever called me back with any information. This is so frustrating because i have spent literally hours and hours on the phone with tmobile on this. Of course you hear rumors from people around on why this does this. I have been told by tmobile that i just live in an area that is too remote to have any tmobile towers installed down here so i just have to travel to an area that has a tmobile tower if i want tmobile. Otherwise they are happy to cancel my contract and have me find another provider. I have checked in to other providers and have not decided what to do. I just want tmobile to work where they say i have coverage. I have tried everything that there is to try, even have a razor which had quad band for the 850 mghz coverage. It just dont work so now what? It is frustrating to pay for something you have to travel to use. This is also a problem in the la sal area down by moab. There is supposed to be 850 mgz coverage there but when i went down there it did not work. I checked the coverage map and it said there was coverage. I tired to manually registerfor the tower available but it wouldnt let me register. I call tmobile and they said they would look in to it but i have never heard anything. So I have calle tmobile the provider and begged for help but they dont have any answers for me so now what?. icon_frown.gif

I guess that would seem the logical answer to most cancel or live with it but tmobile does work when i am in a populated area and i am happy with that. I am only unhappy that i have to travel away from home to use it. We all dont live in the city so are there any helpful answers to that? thanks. icon_confused.gif

Usually the information of the engineers findings will be on the original service log that was issued this is available to Customer Service Representatives and to the direct T-Mobile dealers however it does take time if the issue is within T-Mobile's power to resolve

I've been a tmobile customer for awhile. I had an old NOKIA 3535 and got good reception. However; now that I've changed phones to a Samsung T319, my reception is horrible. In places where I used to get great reception, I now have hardly any. This happens outside, inside, in my car, etc. What causes the differences in reception in phones with the same coverage? Is this because of the phone or because it is a new phone? Can this problem be fixed?
