before trying to flash my e715 from e75uvwj3 to the e710 no voda, i did the backup thing with optiflash. the e710 firmware gave me an error about 'carte flasche'. so i tried to flash with the backup 'save.sre' it creted. it took about ten seconds to flash with the save file and now my phone wont power. I try to flash with some alternate e715 firmware and nothing, optiflash says hit on/off and it does nothing when i do. also in my quest to put on thee715 firmware, i accidently put regular e710 on first, i neeed heeelp lol

alright I now have it flashing, and for anyone else with my problem, try the following:
Take the battery out for a longer period of time (10+ seconds)
remove your phone from the data cable
replace the battery
hit 'flash' in optiflash
re-attach your phone to the data cable
hit on / off as optiflash instructs
keep in mind i hit flash BEFORE my phone was attached to the data cable
I dont know that this will work for everyone, but mine is now flashing after previously not doing ANYTHING after a bad flash....Good Luck!

hey, I just wanted to say the forums were so helpful, you guys got me started fast. Anyways, I am a newb, but regardless, I have gotten Optiflash to finally work, it took some changes of different things, testing different connections to the computer, I am useing a USB-type cable connection, I have 6 USB ports so it took some time to find the right setup, and it has software that I believe, it bridges the communications to com-port 5, but I did get it to transfer, I have a Samsung SGH-E105, now my question is I have made a backup of my firmware, I believe i have done all the research I can and I am suprised I have gotten this far, well what is next? do I go back to the firmware thread number one that lists the different downloads for optiflash and all that stuff, and download that file for the SGH10x? is that what I'm flashing to my phone? and before I do this, do you think it will work? and will it actually improve anything considering the risk I am taking........thanks.
