Thanks don for the reply.

I just realize that I have the current firmware for e715, which is E715UVDC5, installed on my cellphone already, before I even flashing it. My question is, is there any other firmware update where I can do to mute the sound for the camera, whenever I put it on silent mode? Is there any modified firmware where it fix some of the disabbility in e715, such as the default of typing an sms, have to use T9, which sucks. Can we configure it, such that we can use the default ABC?

Thanks

Hello everybody. I am a really noob to this forum so mercy to my questions. I am from Greece and I just bought a new e-708 from China but I need to update my firmware so I can have greek lang to the menu. I cannot read chinese... icon_redface.gif My firmware is E70ADZDE1. Is there a way that you can describe so I can update my cellphone? Is it possible to do something like that via infrared? Do you know where I can find the appropriate firmware? Thanks a lot and forgive for the mass questions I posted... I hope someone can help me with this. icon_smile.gif

To remove the camera sound you can flash your phone with the DC5 NO CAM Mod. You should ask T-Mobile if they could do that ABC thing for you cause its possible but not without a firmware upgrade.

to switch between t9 & abc, ect. all you have to do is press the right menu button. If you notice in the lower right corner, it will say t9, A,1, ect. There are a few modes to chose from including abc, t9, 123, & symbols

@Don

Well as I said I am really noob at all this story but I assume that E-708 "wears" (has) the same type of firmware like E700A... The firmware my phone has is mentioned at my previous post and has chinese menu. I am looking for a menu in greek and greek sms characters. Could you help me? I have read the first page of "Firmwares & Flashers - Part 1" but I have not found a greek firmware. I have read many of the topics in this forum. I have even used the search engine of this site but no important results came...

Thanks. Hope someone can help me... icon_sad.gif

Hey don, I have a v205 that I flashed to V20B0DA1. What are the differences betwen the firmwares that you listed on the first page for my phone(best one)?

ps. Good instructions, first time I flashed a phone and it came out perfect, once I did the resets.
