Firmwares & Flashers - Part 2

i cant get the original firmaware from my v200 to backup and no new firmware can be put on my phone i tried optiflash 3.6, 3.7 and 4.12 and i tried putting v20xxwh2 on my phone but it wont work..my phone has v20xxwc3 on it and it is kind of crappy

Is it possible to change my US E715 into a Dutch version (maybe by using firmware?)

I'm using an unlocked T-mobile E715 (and currently using Vodafone as a provider).

The most important part for me would be to have a Dutch version of the T9, can this be downloaded/installed manually?

ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, using infrared to transfer files, not a data cable (might be important with flashing and such).

I does half of the backup.
When OptiFlash says, Hit on/off button, I do that but nothing happens after that...

help?

This is so annoying, feel I'm almost there.
Cable is set to data, just when Optiflash (tried all versions) says, turn phone on, it does nothing (have taken out simcard, put it back in, all to no avail).

It says in the tutorial, when you hit the on/off button the phone should not power on, but mine does...what am I doing wrong?

Ok, finally got it.
Uninstalled and reinstalled modem, now on com1 and it all works.
Thing is, when I flashed my E715 to 710 my phone can't play the built in ringtones...do I need to change a setting somewhere?

Also, is it possible to add just 1 t9 language using a mod or something similar?

Hi, I successfully removed the Vodafone firmware on my E710 with satisfying results except for a couple of minor issues. The camera seems to be of better quality in terms of colour contrast but evertime I open the camera it never remembers my preferences for photo size & quality, I have to manually set them everytime I take a picture. Similally with my SMS, Each time I create a text message I have to manually disable the T9 predictive and set my text formatting preferences. It never used to be this way!! Are there any Mods to correct this problem Also,is it possible to select an SMS alert other than the defults provided??

I am new to this thing and I just flashed (and backed up) my firmware successfully with the E710XXDF4 file. I do have a question though, I saw multiple files for the E710 series and I was wondering which firmware was the best, looking good etc. Also I was wondering if there is a difference in functionality.

Hi I have a e715 unlocked , if I flash it to e710 firmware because wanted the video cam , do I need to unlock it again? or does firmware 715 have videocam too? i am using cingular in USA: can I turn off camera sound? my callerID display # only?
