God damn it ! I could NOT find Rogers logo in my existing firmware. In the x427 I can - Cingular logo is just in the beginning. Any ideas ?
Oh it might be in the SIM card ? Or am I wrong ?

Flashed my x426 to x 427M using USB cable. At the end Optiflash showed me an CMD_ERROR but I just took out battery for about 5 sec and put it back- it booted OK after.
Now there is another problem : after I turned on my cell it ask me for a PIN, I entered and then it said : " SIM crashed. Contact provider"
I put my SIM card to another x426(not flashed). It worked just fine. I am trying now to fully charge my phone and try again later.
Any ideas what is going on ?
P.S.
Still nothing Phone says " SIM crash. Contact provider"

This is getting really wierd !!! I swap the SIM cards with another x426 phone( not flashed one ) and whoa ... it is working .
Yea the x427m is A LOT different than x426 firmware. It is just sweet!! I can't use it though, because every time I put my originall SIM back to phone it says " SIM crashed Contact provider "
I called to the Rogers but they said that there is $25 charge for new SIM. Well my current SIM is not really not workable - it is working but not in my flashed phone !
Maybe somebody has a clue ?!
That is what I was using unless it is different firmware( I am pretty sure that is the same cause I downloaded it off the Roswell's site ) but I l'll try.
It looks like the problem is with SIM card- it doesn't want to work with unlocked firmware. But again, why another SIM ( from the same damn ROgers ) works with it ? I would go with it but I don't want to change my cell number( a lot of people already know it )

If you buy a new sim you do not need to change your cell number.
