No, 3.7 is invalid with an x426. You need the Optiflash version 3.6 Turn your erase slidebar in the options down to 1. Erase all reserved regions under flash and verify and uncheck any of the options such as extended protection (they are basically useless for what you intend to do). Then it should work. I w3as having the same issue. It was a bug in the programming and is harder to fix then just getting the newer program. It should be available in this forum under flashers and firmware. If you need firmware, also, feel free to PM me.

I picked up my friend's Samsung X427 phone with Rev 1.7 on it and backuped up the firmware on the PC and I am trying to download that firmnware on my Samsung X426 with optiflash3.6.

It is loading in but it is giving these messages in the log for every sector it writes

"Verify Data: Detected Difference ( Some memory address != other memory address)

where the memore addresses are some hex numbers.

Will my X426 work ? If it doesn't work, what shall I do to make it with with the 1.7 flash ?

Also if you know where from exactly I can get the 1.6 flash for X426, please tell me.

Make a backup of your firmware and flash your friends 1.7. If your phone doesn't start flash your phone with your backup.

Also You don't have to verify cause its always going to be different if the firmwares where the same flashing would be a waste of time cause it wouldn't be a upgrade nor downgrade it would be a nonegrade.
