I cannot decide! Originally Samsung SCH-A530 was ALSO in this list in choices but I have decided to stick with Nokia. Can someone give me some suggestions on how to choose? I simply cannot choose! It has been driving me mad. I think I have ruled out the 6610 however, and am going to choose between 6100 and 7250. Maybe not? HELP! My brain.. hurts..

try the nokia phone comparison tool at the nokia website, it allowes yo uto compare upto three points.

advantages of 6100:
- smallest and most lightweight nokia phone ever (I think just one gram lighter than the old N8210)
- wallet feature

advantages of 7210/6610:
- fm radio

Actually 3 grams according to my sources...but that's not a big issue. The best feature of the 6100 is the depth. It's just 13.5mm thick (the thinnest phone Nokia has released, down from the 8210's 17.5mm).

Steihl was also asking about the 7250...uhhh..it's got a built in Camera. Only phone from Nokia so far that has one. Handy if you like taking pix and using them as a "Caller ID". It also has a few enhancements to the firmware (like a user-definable 'go-to' menu so you can put shortcuts to frequently accessed menu items) which I hope we will see on the other series-40 mobiles.

The N7250 has a big memory (5MB vs 725kB of N7210). This comes in handy when you like to have a variety of graphics, ringtones and games on your phone when you are on the move.

Also, comparing N7250 and N6100, the fomer has a higher resolution. I have both and I am always carrying the N7250.. icon_redface.gif

yea, the depth...... I was surprized back then when they sacrificed the depth for the length when they upgraded the 8210 to the 8310/6510 icon_lol.gif

I gotto say that the 7250 shouldn't much be compared to the other non-camera phones, since its a big advantage. icon_rolleyes.gif

I think I have finally decided to get 7250. It was a painful 4 weeks of deliberation and research. However, one remaining issue is bugging the crap out of me. What IS the 7250i? I hear it's nothing but software upgrades to the 7250 and there are NO hardware differences whatsoever! But then I hear that 7250 users might not get a firmware upgrade to give it the functionality of the 7250i?!? That is insanity! The 7250i apparently is supposed to add several significant features that the 7250 is missing! Does anyone have information on this? If I know a 7250 firmware upgrade is coming to give us the 7250i features, I'd go ahead and get the 7250 now rather than wait for 7250i.
