use this code to get the software working
C. Open the mp3 and Save as (so you will convert the mp3 to wav)
C.2. the wav format should be 8 or 16 bits and 11025,22050 or 44100 HZ (you can use sound recorder of WINDOWS for this)
D. Press the first button on the right that open the audio midi converter ,open the wav file and press the CONVERT WAV FILE TO MIDI TRACK …

F.START and than choice a Playback instrumental that fits to your music

I.Open the midi file and Create SMAF 40cords and make : Max Size 0 , choice a channel for the vib or led if you want them in your ring tone

MMPoly - sux
If you need the best quality you have to use software from Yamaha (ATS-MA3/5-SMAF).
Don't believe me? Try my own rigntones created from mp3 in different formats (MA-2, -3, -5) http://dr-smaf.nm.ru
For listening use Yamaha SMAF Sound Decorator or MidRadio Player and DO NOT USE PSM Player since only Yamaha soft "shows" you how your mmf really sounds like
