Reset eeprom by doing the following to ensure factory settings.
1) *2767*3855# phone will reboot to original settings
2) *2767*2878# phone will reboot
3)Press *#06# to get imei, write that down
4)Insert diferent sim card from different company
5)Turn on, at sim error enter *2767*688 imei number followed by# (example)*2767*688352787123423456# (imei has 15 numbers also located on back of phone)
6) Phone will reboot to your new service provider, enter *0141# then hit call button
Phone should say personalized. turn off phone and insert different sim card. power back on. at sim unlock code screen enter 00000000 8 zero's hit enter
This should unlock the e715 with the updated firmware
Try at your own risk!!!! worked for me but who knows

How can I unlock to make work on south american networks??????? (sim cards)

Hi,
I was wondering if you could help me out, first of all thnak you very much for the unlockng tip. I bought the E715 from E-bay and it said it was unlocked but it didnt come so, so thanks again.
Another thing is that i keep going on the web and downloading games but after its downloaded i cant find it anywhere. Is there a code that i should know about? cuz the images and sounds download perfectly, or if not do you know any wap sites that i can download games for samsung E715?

Hey I have a samsung E715 too and cannot get it to work properly on my Digicel St. Vincent and the Grenadines network... Sometimes it picks up the network and other times it drops it and can't get it back for days except when I am in certain areas... If I insert a C&W SIM card it works perfectly. Can anyone help me please? Also my camera has become very distorted and the LCD display has gotten seriously bright with no apparent way of turning it down. Can anyone help please??

try this.Turn off the phone. Put a non-accepted Simcard and turn it on. Type *#9998*3323#. Press Exit. Choose menu #7. After phone reboots type *0141# and hit the Call button. Turn off and insert another Simcard. Turn on. The code is 00000000.
if the 1st didnt work try putting a non accepted sim and type *2767*3855# phone will reboot and should b ok
