I have recently bought a Nokia 6230 on vodafone with a Nokia DKU-2 cable, I am able to transfer my music and photos from my computer to my phone. But everytime I try and download photos that i've taken with my phone I go to Nokia Phone Browser then Nokia 6230 and I click on gallery and I get a "The operation could not be completed" box. How can I get around this? I really need to download some photos from my phone and I can't do it!! Please help asap!!
Thanks

Hi,
I had the exact same problem but fixed it pretty easily thanx to this forum (thnx guys!)
You need to do the following:
1. In your phone go into Gallery
2. On the pic of your mmc memory card, select "options" and then "rename mem. card" to anything you want and save.
3. Switch off your phone and after a couple of seconds switch it back on
4. Then connect to your DKU-2 cable
and bob's your uncle! No more annoying prompt saying "operation could not be completed" This is a problem I've noticed everyone with a 6230 is experiencing, no idea why nokia didnt solve it before hand!

Same problem with win2000 and IRDA but the solution mentioned here also worked for that scenario.

Fantastic! I was also having the same problem and now it works great thanks to you guys Now I can delete/rename/move pictures on my phone!! Don't know if anyone else was having this problem too... but my phone wouldn't let me delete/rename/move any of the pictures I had currently or previously set as a wallpaper or screensaver. But now using the phone browser and getting into the gallery this is easily overcome!
I now also have a way of transfering files directly onto the MMC.
