Is Nokia 6230 supported in Canada. I know it is a Triband phone, but still I am confirming it. And if it is supported will it work perfectly like other phones working there in Canada.??
Reply will be greatly appreciated.

I'd say check with ur carrier on as to what frequency it operates on. If ur carrier uses 850mhz freq band, u'll have problems.

Well I wanted to purchase Nokia 6230 from here in Dubai (Middle East) and wanted to use there in Canada. My bro said that if you have Tri-band phone than it won't have any problem. So you see exactly I wanted to confirm it. Well what do you suggest ?
I was thinking of buying Nokia 6230 from Canada, but I found that Canada is soo backwards...all old mobile phones are working still... And I like Nokia 6230, so definitely I want to purchase it from here. So please can you confirm this thingy for me...please

Afaik:
It should work, since canadian providers only use GSM 1900 which the 6230 supports.
