I am using the Belkin USB Bluetooth Dongle on XP
Using Nokia 6230 and Nokia PC Suite 6.1
The Bluetooth connection works as I can use the software that came with the USB dongle to transfer pictures, music, videos.
However, I cannot make Nokia PC Suite work as it will only allow an IR connection or a serial prt connection. I cannot trick my PC into recognising the bluetooth dongle through a COM port either.
I have tried re-installing both and getting rid of un-necessary COM ports. Still have Nokia PC Suite asking for COM 3 connection whilst bluetooth dongle runs on COM 5.
What I basically need is for Nokia PC Suite to come up with 'Bluetooth' as one of the coonection options instead of just IR or serial port (data cable)
Any clues would be awesome!
Gav.

hello, I have a similar problem.....
I`m trying to transfer photos/ringtones etc from my P.C. to my
Nokia 6230 but it won`t work.
when I right-click on the photo/ringtone I want to send to my phone and select "send by bluetooth", it should show my phone (Nokia 6230) as an option to send to, shouldn`t it.....
can anyone help....please

I have the very self same problem. I get a bluetooth connection but PCSuite always says my fone is not connected
I emailed Nokia careline but they just told me to try everything that I already had (and stated in my email) which proves they just give the emails a quick glance over
"Ah he can`t get a connection, `Dear Mr.X you need to do this............`"
