I went to the wap.mobiledia.com site on my x426 and i choose the 128x128 px option. after that, when i type in the wap id and select ok after it describes the image, it says not acceptable. how can i get the wallpapers to go to my phone?

I think that your phone can't handle the jpg's via wap. Did you tried downloading .gif's?

aren't the pictures on this site gif? when i went to the properties of them it says that they are gif...

I'm pretty sure that the file must be less than 30 kb. Could that be the problem?

the files aren't .gif, try clicking download and you'll see they are jpeg, and they are less than 30 kb, but I'm wondering if there are any wallpapers to dl that are .gif, or where I can go to find some. I've had the most frustrating luck with wallpapers, my old phone couldn't dl them, and this new one is impossible to find them, and when I finally find a GOOD website like this one, my phone says not acceptable, that bastard, so if anyone can hook me up with gifs from this site or just a way to dl the jpegs, it would be greatly appreciated

I am recently getting a 'not acceptable error' when i try to download my own ringtones. I have created a small one with the Wav - SMAF yamaha converter and then tried to access the file from my WAP browser. What am I doing wrong?
