Hi, I have never seen a phone where you can not check the WAP settings before so I don't know how to fix the problem. I went to T-Mobile and had a friend that works there unlock my phone.
It worked great! It reset itself with all of at&t's settings on it's own! I thought Wow that was easier than ever in the past!
But then I tried to check my email and I cannot connect! It shows me two options under the network settings and that is network selection and then auto or manual. I self manual...it searches. Comes back with two options: At&t or T-Mobile. I choose at&t.
But when I try to connect it says netwrok not detected or something like that.
So I go back choose automatic...same problem!
Why can't I check the IP address and all that?
Is there a way to fix this?

Change your settings in the menu *#87927# for WAP and *#87667# for MMS.

But how do I do that? I don't understand exactly what you mean. When and where do I type that in?
I am really sorry if this seems like a dumb question.
I have always been good at setting up my cell phones and computers but this does stump me. I have never had to go so deep into it.
Please help me out a bit more indepth.
Thanks!

It works great now! I really am thankful. I asked so many people that even work for cellular shops and they all told me it couldn't be done without messing up features!
You proved them wrong!
