Besides the D410 being triband, what are any other major, or minor differences. And which one would you choose?

There the same but D415 is t-mobile branded thats all.

I was wondering the same thing because I've been waiting for this phone for months, thinking that it had the capability to record video but on samsung's website and tmobile's website it doesn't say anything about recording video. I'm very confused and belong to a couple different forums but can't seem to get an answer from anybody. Please help!!

Ok...just checked samsung's website again only this time I read the info for the d410 and it looks like the d410 can record video and the d415 can't. But I don't get it cuz if you search Google for the d415, every website that is selling it through Tmobile say it can record video. This is so frustrating. Someone please help.

D415 sitting right next to me... I can assure you it does record video clips

I know current model of D410 we have does not have picture caller id, but has video recording upto about 20sec per clip.
Where as what I saw from other forums, people asking for help on D410 for picture caller id features, which they say working on d415 models

After Checking with various maunals in samsung.com
I notice that both the D410 and D415 have similar features, both does not have picture id listed as a features on the manuals(ver1.0)
But one thing to look out for, D415 is dual band, whereas D410 is triband.

Hey Guys!
I work for T-Mobile and I can tell you a couple of things... One and Most important has been mentioned.. that is D415 is dual band as the D410 is Tri.
Second which is really not important more less a feature... The D415 can do picture ID.. as the D410 you have to setup ringtones and images under groups... thats all I can tell... I personally have a D410 and would really like the pic id feature.. but ahhh well ... better to have tri over pic id...

They are different things
-Yes 
So the firmware is that makes the phone dual or tri band, I hope Samsung will make a tri band firmware for my e71x.
