i was wondering when u record sounds on ur SE t300 or record phone conversations and then transfer them to your computer, it is a bleh.amr file. what is an amr file? is there any supported decoder/player for this type of file? thanks

Go to filext.com and type in the exact name (starting with the dot) of the extension, and it will provide useful information + links to download converterz or programs that can use those types of filez...

You can open up a .amr file with Quicktime on a Mac, I assume it's the same for Windows.I don't know how to save audio files to amr format, any clues?

You can convert wave files to amr format using the official Ericsson converter.
