hi.
i have recently owned new samsung X600 and unable to connect my mobile with my PC using IrDA, winXP even not detecting my mobile phone. i have downloaded the EasyStudio and the picture Editor from the samsungmobile.com from X600 section. i have placed my friends' samsung C100, and winXP immediately detects that and i was succeed to download pictures and tones to C100 (using EasyGPRS and IrDA), it means, my IrDA works fine but why my PC (and EasyStudio) not detecting my new X600. please help me to connect my mobile with PC.In the EasyStudio.
My IrDA: Edisonsoft Technology Inc.

I'll be thankful, if you would concern about my problem!

hi, and i am really gratefull to you to reply me. icon_smile.gif

well, what ever i did to configure my mobile, all the time my cell phone was on activited infrared, and i also know that each and after 60 seconds, the infrared from the cell fone got off, but i again then reactivite it ,,,

i am afraid, my cell phone i got comes to me with Manifracturer defects.
but how is this possible, i never ever droped this cell phone. i am too concious for my cell phone.

Pleas suggest me, if i am missing anything!

Yup its broken or blocked (by software). Is it provider branded?
If not let them repair it for you.

if you dont mind, then please send me the full steps through which i would again repeat the steps to connect the my x600 with my pc using the IrDA.

I bought IRDA on USB, EasyStudio 1.0.0.0 recognise my phone but this EasyStudio don't have FileManager:(, Newer version don't see my phone:( I don't know what to do, I'm sick of this phone:(

i think the problem is with the irda.. i just bought an usb to irda and it doesn't work with my e700. My irda is also edisonsoft.. maybe it has some compatibility issues.. my phone doesn't have damages and samsung is quite known for its durability regarding their mobile phones so i think you/I should change our irda
