I just got my LG u8110, and I couldn't phone anybody or anything because the network the phone is on (3) hadn't connected it yet or something...And, now instead of me being able to make calls, it just says, "Emergency calls only"
What am I meant to do? and what has happened?

this happened to my phone as well (motorola v600)
i called AT&T about it and all they said was to disconect the battery, take out the sim, put it back in, and turn it back on... (i found shutting it off and then back on seems to work fine).
i however have noticed when i search for a neetwork, i see "Network Busy" errors... so i wonder if they are overcrowded on the network and cant support more phones...
and by powering it off and on again it bumps someone else..
i dunno.
its annoying thou. AT&T said if it happenes alot it might be a problem with my phone...
odly my wife has the same phone (we share minutes) and she has never had this problem....

having trouble with this mp3 transfer thing aye how does it all work and how do transfer it over i have managed to transfer stuff from the phone to the computer but computer to phone how does it all work to detail.. thanks big help..

yea mate i had this just turn it off and then on again it worked for me in hte top right hand coner it says a 3g means ur with 3g but if ur out of signal it will cahnge net work to roaming or something ( think its vodaphone towers)

The spec on this phone say it has speaker phone. Does n e 1 no how to use it!!
Also I have read all ur complaints bout ya phones and mines just as shit! Emergency calls only! Switch off and on its fine. Cannot save pics to software coz the phone has some sort of other fault. messages not sending, no signal, list goes on and on trust me! I like the phone tho !! So how does the speaker phone work.

To get the phone on hands free just make your call then once the call is connected hold down the c button for one sec and it is on and do the same to turn it of
