Hi
I have both DKU-2 and DKU-5 cables.
Could somebody please explain why my DKU2 will only work with my 6230 but not my 7250 and 6100. Yet my DKU5 will work with the 6100 and 7250.

That's bcos dku-2 is supposed to work with the 6230 and dku-5 with the 6100/7250 and dku-2 and 5 r both different cables.

DKU-2 offers the full USB-Speed, while DKU-5 only uses a virtual com-port to talk to the phone which limit the speed dramatically.

If the DKU2 is the superior cable it's a shame it can't be used with the older phones. I am selling my DKU5 cable soon too.

It's is not superior. It's quite the same, only the speed is the real difference. And older phone don't profit of it.
Also most people who have more than 1 phone buy an IrDA instead of a cable

wat about the dke 2 cable the one which u get with the n-gage,duz it offer full usb speed

The cable u get withh a n-gage is dku-2? I didnt know that.

DKE-2 not DKU-2
It should, otherwise uploading mp3 would take a long time

yup its quite fast.....but i still dont understand why it duznt support the pc suite for the n-gage.....btw are you supposed to be gettin a tomb raider game free wid de n-gage

Because via the cable you can only access the MMC memory... it's quite like some kind of card reader thingy...
@ the game: I don't think it's normal, but some shop make it as a bundle to make the N-Gage attractive...
