If you want good quality on your PC - make sure you set the camera resolution to 640x480 before you take the picture. The picture I have taken with the MCA-25 on my T300 are fine at this resolution.

Hi,
I too have this problem. I use the T306 and MCA-25 and the pictures are HORRIBLE. They are so grainy and unclear when I take them and send via email to my PC......why are all these sample pics I see so nice and clear and mine so spotted and crappy?

I don't do anything "special" or "tricky" and my pictures come out fine... (as shown here)...
The amount of lighting does make a difference. The less direct light, the spottier the pictures will come out. If that doesn't work, you should call your cell company and discuss it with them. It could just be a defect in the camera, because good pictures ARE possible with the MCA 25....

I guess I'm just not understanding the lighting and conditions that should be kept when taking pictures. do I need a 400watt light for taking pics? lol.....I did take a pic under a bunch of flourescent light that turned out a lot better than my other pics but I still don't feel my pics are as nice as these taken in forums. I'm using white balance...does this matter in pic quality? Also, in *##* what should the color range be set to?

Well, not 400 watt....
Think about it in this way. A regular camera without a flash will only take good pictures in bright light, or sunlight. The MCA 25 does not have a flash, so the same rule would apply here.
As far as HOW bright, you'll just have to try out different things and see what works best for you.
I haven't messed with the white balance or the color range on my camera. So unless you have changed them, that can't be your problem...
