I have a Mot V600 and an HS801 bluetooth headset. When I turn bluetooth on to use with my headset, it only turns on 'temporarily' and sometimes disconnects all by itself. I can reconnect by going into settings and clicking on bluetooth to turn it on again, but there must be some way to set things up so that bluetooth is always on whenever you turn on the phone. What's the secret?
I will be one unhappy camper if there's no way to fix this, since it's a royal pain. Thanks for any advice.

to turn bluetooth on permantly:
1. Go to settings
2.Enter "Connection"
3. Select "Bluetooth"
4. The enter "Setup"
5. Click on "power" and choose "on"
this will leave bluetooth on.
Hope this helps

I have a Jabra Freespeak Bluetooth Headset and a V600 and I am also finding that the phone loses the connection with the headset quite often.
I noticed that the phone after a few minutes of non-use beeps, and then the bluetooth indicator goes out, then I usually need to re-seek the headset. This is after doing the method described above by Rhodey. It appears that the bluetooth connection on the phone is going into a sleep mode to save power, because sometimes when I activate the headset, the indicator on the phone will come back on and the phone will activate.
Does anyone know if there is a way to stop this from happening, I am willing to sacrifice a bit of battery life if the connection with my headset will remain.

Has anyone found an answer yet to the Jabra Bluetooth headset disconnecting from the V600 yet? (I have done the power on thing, I have turned off my battery saver) anything else that works?

I notice alot of you complaining about connectivity problems with v600 bluetooth. I'm curious where you got the phone, from ATT, Cingular, T-Mobile or an indirect dealer? I ask because T-Mobile had the v600 in test from around March/april and it didnt release until July. Why? Because it kept dropping bluetooth connections and had other problems so Tmo kept sending it back to motorola to FIX IT. Companies like ATT/Cingular are so worried about money they just wanted to be first to market and I wonder if they didn't care that the original design/software was buggy.
Its just speculation but i'm curious to know - also, if you have a v400 with Cingular you should download a jpeg image as wallpaper, its gets distorted like its not properly decompressing the image. I thought it may have been something wrong with "the triplets" but the images are absolutely beautiful on my V300. Again, rushed software.
So where are these v600's from and what version of S/W are you using (MENU > SETTINGS > PHONE STATUS > OTHER INFORMATION)
As reference my I'll use my V300 (waiting on my V600)
T-Mobile, S/W Version TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.1FR_B, Flex Version GS9V300TMB02NA105, DSP S/W Version 62E2E000
