Hi there,

I'm totaly new on this forum, I submitted myself as a member because there is onething I want to know.
I just bought (on thuesday 29 june 2004) a Sony-ericsson T610, I know that it has infrared. Yesterday I took a phone from a friend and I wanted to send a ringtune trough infrared from my T610 to his Sharp GX30, but somehow my phone said he couldn't find an other device icon_cry.gif

Can some one help me please? icon_angel.gif

Please be sure that the Infrared port at both ends are activated and facing each other at a max distance of 10 cm.

Yeah I thought that too, but when both devices are activated and less then 5 cm away of eachother it still doesn't work icon_mad.gif

It seems that the sharp might not have a true IR port much like the ones in the 7250, 6610 etc. Did u send images or contacts?
