When the cable wants to instal, select to choose a driver your self and browse to one of the .infs

No its not working it wants software, i extracted the files to a folder, and al it lets me do is select the folder, and doesnt display the contents?
Oh i see, but i am lost a tiny bit???

Its suppose to be like that. Select the folder and click on next.

Yes sorry, i tried four files it let me choose from, which were the .inf files, but it said the ifile location contained no information for my hardware.

And which driver does it install if you select automatically instead of do it yourself?

It cannot find the nesseary software so it doesnt get installed.

Okay im lost  . Install the drivers from the disc and see if doing a driver update works (Click on Driver Update in the Device Manager and select browse to the folder).

It just wont work????
You might be lost but so am i, i have never installed a driver like this 
I am suprised i found the device manager thing!
