Had the same problem with my n 3660 ......
it used to start...then the nokia logo came...continued for 3 times..then phone shutdown.....
never knew the reason why it happened.....retrospectively thought that a program called "Wild Skins" had caused that(was really stupid to install that) but it is possible that it could have been due to excess files in the phone memory...the prob happened all of a sudden.....
eventually got it flashed with a new firmware at the nokia care centre 
Maybe u should do the same even though it may cost u some money if u do not have a warranty

yeh i think the multiple n-gage games might have been the problem. i got it from singapore and i live in australia and the care center here wont fix it cuz its from singapore and its not under warranty and i cant be bothered sending it to singapre to get fixed. i'll just sell it on ebay, with the description "6600 with issues". thanx anyway guys
