Hi guys,
I got a problem with my 6600.
My friends transfered me lots of pictures by IR. when it reached 25 mesgs, I moved them to My Folder after doing "Mark All".
My friend then continue transfering. When it reached 9 message, my phone booted it self.
I turned it off and on again, but it booted itself again repeatedly without mercy.
(Display the NOKIA banner, then 2 saeconds later keypad lights are off, NOKIA banner again, then off)
I cannot even perform the *#7370#, GREEN * 3 format. It won't even let me charge it. No indicator on the screen.
What should I do... icon_sad.gif

I did buy a new case long time ago and I've damaged the original seal. I afraid they won;t accept my warranty any more.

please help

looks like ur internal memory is full... so ur locked out...
never do that agin cause the OS cant function without some free internal memory

try reupdating it in a nokia service center (not absolutly sure but might work)

since the update is done externaly, it might not be phone dependent?!
(similar to a forced update)

btw: i think u can still atleast update the phone in the warranty period for free... may not be able to repair it though

yeh it also happened to me. but after a while the nokia logo stopped showing up. the green format thing dont work. the fone starts once in a while and i used the *#7370# thing but it still takes about an hour of trying to get it to boot. are there any other ways to force boot other than the green format thing or holding the draw key when turning it on?

thanx

Nope.

The Green+*+3 is the only format command which can be done while booting.

Did you really press all three, than turn on the phone and hold them the whole time till it should show formatting?
