Ok, so i noticed the other day, when my car charger is in and i have my phone chargine, i can NOT recieve or make calls. Voice mails will NOT show up and text messaging stuff will NOT show up untill i detached my phone from teh cable. i tried this using my wife's V600 as well.
However, on a home charge i can do all of the same things.
is my charge messed up or is this how the V600's work? -- car charging = no phone calling.
which is totaly bogus i will add... >
ill never use the car charger if thats how it works.

No body can either Confirm or Deny this issue is happenening to them? i have purchased a Non-Motorola Charger (i think). and im not 100% sure its because of that... Any input would be great!

Not had the problem. Use non Moto charger and have received calls whilst on charge.

In responce to your questions about not being able to recieve or send calls / messages when you are using an in-car charger........ i had exactly the same problem.
I got my phone on Friday 2nd July 2004. I was given a in car charger from the car phone wearhouse (own brand) and I had the same problems. We checked this on a different phone, again a motorola and the same problems happened.
I contacted Orange, the service provider and they said it was a fault with the phone and told me to take it back to the carphone wearhouse whcih I did.
However, its not the phone. Its the car charger. It appears the Motorola V600 will only work with an origional Motorola car charger. The car phone wearhouse will brilliant about this and swaped it over without no extra cost.
Since then the phone has worked well and I can send / recieve calls whilst in-car charging.
You need to get an origional Motorola car charger to resolve this issue. Hope this can be of some help,

Got my generic car charger from -edited- and had no problems whatsoever. Made calls with bluetooth, received calls with bluetooth. Fully charged it up with it and also received text and voicemail messages.
