Ive tried this, but it says when i dial that code, that i have dialed the wrong number
what gives?

try this.Turn off the phone. Put a non-accepted Simcard and turn it on. Type *#9998*3323#. Press Exit. Choose menu #7. After phone reboots type *0141# and hit the Call button. Turn off and insert another Simcard. Turn on. The code is 00000000.
if the 1st didnt work try putting a non accepted sim and type *2767*3855# phone will reboot and should b ok

Okay im Alex.i have this cingular phone an samsung x427 and i need to unlock it to put my t-mobile sims card in it.can anyone help asap send me a msg or reply to it on here or send me a msg on here

hey guys thanks,
sasha, my dog is precious but she loves to eat phones, she did a great job on my old 426, i found a used one on craigslist from cingular and using this method unlocked for suncom,
works perfect, and the way it was explain was exact

Does anybody know how to do like a master reset or something because I set the phone lock and I forgot the password, I know, it was a dumb move.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! You just saved me from having to replace my (only) year old phone that the screen went out on (RAZR sucks!). I still had my old phone which worked fine (though not as fancy but at least it has a screen!) and the code Cingular gave me was worthless. I have spent ALOT of time on this and your solution worked great first time out! I even paid for a code which also was worthless.at least I only spent $8! hahaha thanks again for saving me the cash for a new phone!
