Hi - I just got a VX6000. I read prior posts here and understand that I can record a voice memo and then rig it to be my personal ringtone. However, I'm finding that when I record a song from my CD player, the sound quality is very poor. I've tried adjusting the volume on both phone and radio, and altering the distance from the radio where I hold the phone.
Does anyone have any tips on recording a good-sounding music clip? Thanks!!

Just to let you all know the data cable for the vx7000 is the same one for the 8100. im not sure if it will work with the new lg phone but it does work with the 8100. And for the person that is looking for the data cable for the vx 7000 then go here and get it. It is cheap and it works. Its where I get all my stuff for my phone. (www.-edited-) And yes they are alot cheaper than going to a store. the data cable your looking for is $11.90. here is the direct link for the lg phones accessories. http://www.-edited-/lgvx7000.html and the direct link to the data cable is http://www.-edited-/dacaforlgvxv.html. this site is killer so go check it out. This site is also great for all makes and models of phones. It doesnt matter on your carrier.
