Hi,
There are two things that are bothering me with this model at the moment, all of which I was an able to find on the forum.
Firstly the camera, this may be a hardware problem but I don’t think it is. What is happening is, when taking pictures of standard size the quality is good even when zooming up. But when setting the phone to take pictures of portrait size, the quality of the picture taken is reduced so dramatically, it is ridiculous. This effect also occurs when trying to crop an image to portrait size with the image editor. Can this be fixed some how, because it is really annoying?
And the second question relates to the music player. I believe what this player is designed for, is to allow the user to be able to browse the phone while your mp3's are still playing in the background. But in order to do this the music files have to be in the phones memory, and the phones memory can only hold two songs at the most. Is there any way to change the music player to look for the music in the storage card?
If you could help me with these problems i would be very grateful.........other wise the phone is absolutely great...

For the camera: I think, it's correct. When you use the portrait mode, you take pictures for caller ID. And for those no hq pictures are needed.
For mp3: The phone normally looks at the MMC... but the mp3s have to be in the root and not in any folder. If you wanna use folders, you define it with a playlist before uploading.

its the same problems occur to me when i first bought the phone.... but it sorted now
this what u can do...
- just format your memory card ( whether u want to rename it or not its up to u, stiill work though) and then when u open the music player it will detect all the songs in the memory card.
i had bought mmc card 128mb, it can hold 30 songs!! wicked isnt it.. hehe imagine if u have 512mb card...
ok mate... hope that will help..

Like always it depends on the quality of the mp3

ofcourse...how much quality diffrence is noticable on the phones speaker or the headphones...it is negligible...so mp3's at lowere bitrates can be used

First of all, the portrait function is designed for use with the contacts, so it saves memory as well as time when using contacts.
And for the image editor, it saves the picture in .gif format, and is designed for using with MMS, not high resolution photos.
the mp3 player can read MP3s from any where on the phone, just make sure the MP3s in question have IDv13 tags. Search on google 4 info about creating tags 4 MP3s.
Ps: these tags allows the player to define mp3s into its play list.

oh finally my problem solved. i also have to be confused because it cannot be read when all of the mp3s is put in a mmc folder. but by putting them all in the root looks a little bit untidy. isn't that nice if we could place them in the playlist?? how to make a playlist??thx before
