Use Apple's QuickTime Pro for ur needs.
For quickly and effortlessly transferring stuff, get a MMC reader. However, if u intend on buying one, get a USB based one that is compatible with the RSMMC format as well. This is because ur next S60 phone will probably have a RSMMC slot. Hence, to be future proof....

I dont think theres much difference between the mmc reader they seem just as fast to me I transfer as much as 6mb a time and both are quite slow. Heres how you can acsess the phone: copy the file, start nokia pc suite double click transfer files then double click 7610 (or which ever nokia phone you have) enter where ever you want to put these files (phone or mmc) and paste them in. I only just found out TODAY ACTUALLY how to do this Ive Had my phone for about a month now and i would use the data cable to transfer the files cause my phone cover creeks from having to open it up you also you dont have to turn your phone off and you can also delete the files from your pc so you wouldnt need to reopen the phone to take mmc out.

Why do i need to make the mpg files 3gp files when the 7610 supports both. Is it a smaller file? If it is, then it is worth changing it to 3gp because i have 80 mp3s in my phone and not much space for more =)

The N6230, does not have RealOne player and therefore will not play any video types except for .3gp files.
.avi etc... are unsupported.
If .3gp files are giving you an error, then they must be corrupt files.

To transfer files on to your phone, you can either buy a "USB Based MMC Reader" or you can purchase the "Nokia DKU-2 Cable"
